The Chatuchak Weekend Market is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. It is a wholesale market for beautiful plants and flowers on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If there is time left in the evening, you can go jogging at Chatuchak Park, Queen Sirikit Park, or Wachirabenchathat Park (Railway Park) in the same zone.
You can get here in various ways, whether by MRT, BTS, bus, van, private car or take a taxi. In general, it is more convenient to commute by public service because of traffic congestion, parking spaces may fill up quickly, and the cost of parking is relatively high.
For private cars, you can park at the Park & Ride, Or-Tor-Kor Market, JJ Mall Building, Sunday Market, the area near Chatuchak Plaza market, parking lot beside Mo Chit Old BTS Station, Chatuchak Park, Benjakitti Park, and Children’s Museum.
Caution: Beware of scammers in the area. The weather is relatively hot and stuffy if going during the day; it is recommended to bring a sun hat, should dress in clothing that is not thick and well ventilated.
