Jewelry Trade Center – JTC (ศูนย์การค้าจิวเวลรี่เซ็นเตอร์) is the largest gem trading center in the heart of Thailand’s capital and one of the most comprehensive hubs in Asia.
It serves as a central market of gems, diamonds, all kinds of jewelry, gems information service center, and is the place of various activities related to gems and jewelries.
The JTC is a 59-story skyscraper (the tallest in Thailand in 1997). Located in the gem district of the metropolis, No. 919/1 Silom Road, Silom, Bang Rak, Bangkok.
It houses related institutions such as the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association, the Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences (AIGS), the first Gemology school in Southeast Asia, and the Bangkok Fashion Outlet Shopping Center.
This mixed-use building is filled with leading shops selling various gems and jewelries. Products are wholesale and retail: gemstones, genuine diamonds, loose diamonds, gold, pebbles, rose golds, sapphires, precious stones, synthetic gems, etc.
The sellers are both Thais and foreigners; each shop has a smiling staff to welcome you, inquiring about the price.
The project area is also home to the offices of gem import and export companies, gem showrooms, gem lab, gem inspection service, jewelry making tools, banks, foreign exchange points, customs service center, post office, restaurants, art / antique exhibition spaces, business office zone, Officemate, condominium, department store, brand-name product promotion area, food court, coffee shops, hair salons, health club, and convenient parking.
Jewelry Trade Center is open from Monday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
