Pak Khlong Talat Market (ปากคลองตลาด) is the largest wholesale and retail source of various flowers in Bangkok. Also one of the top 10 most famous flower markets in the world.

It is open for sales 24 hours a day and serves as a place to collect many flowers from all over the country, including winter floras from northern Thailand. Furthermore, being a wholesale source of fresh vegetables, fruits, and snacks.

This old market has a history alongside the Thai capital; it has everything about flowers and accessories. Both Thai and foreign tourists often come to see vivid flowers here. Other significant markets in this area are Yodpiman Market and Thai Agricultural Extension Market.

Various types of fresh flowers are beautiful, blooming, and showing off their colours to visitors. Sourced from plantations throughout the country and imported from abroad, sold at a lower price than other places in the Thai capital — with standard and reasonable prices that can be bought.

Located at the foot of the Buddha Bridge, Phra Nakhon side, the famous Pak Khlong Talat distribute flowers to other fresh markets throughout the metropolis and other provinces.

The uniqueness of this market is its enchantment community lifestyle, all the time, day and night, amid the beautiful colors and the fragrance of flowers.

Customers often bring flowers to offer a person who should be worshiped, benefactors, worship buddhas, holy things, flower bush trays, garland, and Bai Sri.

The flowers available here include fresh and dried, including lotuses, jasmines, roses, marigolds, gerbera, lilies, orchids, chrysanthemums, and countless others.

During the evening time, one can see people pushing baskets of flowers. If there is time left, you can also walk to see the atmosphere along the Chao Phraya River and the sunset view at Yodpiman Riverwalk.

A parking lot here is quite rare, or you may have to walk a long distance. If coming by public transport, it will be more convenient, whether it’s an MRT (get off at Sanam Chai Station, exit 4), Chao Phraya Express Boat (get off at Saphan Phut Pier or Yod Phiman Pier), bus, or taxi.
