Suea Pa Market : Mobile Accessories, Hi-Tech, Gadgets

Date:

Suea Pa Market (ตลาดเสือป่า – เสือป่าพลาซ่า) is Thailand’s largest source of wholesale and retail of hi-tech accessories,  IT gadgets, and mobile phone spare parts. This neighborhood has several buildings that are well known, namely Suea Pa Plaza, Capital Plaza, The Grand Suea Pa, Khlong Thom Corner, and Sueapa Market.

Most of the products sold here are imported from overseas, and some from the factories in the country. The prices in this area are lower than in other places if you buy in bulk, which ranges from the wholesale prices, starting from ten baht, and can be negotiated. Shops here are open every day from 9.30 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The majority of the people who buy things here are merchants who buy them for resale, mobile phone repairers from other places come to find spare parts to repair for customers, and some people come to buy for personal use.

Suea Pa Road, built during the reign of King Rama VI, is located in Worachak Subdistrict, Pom Prap Sattru Phai District in Bangkok — near Yaowarat Road and the Khlong Thom area. It is separated from Charoen Krung Road at the Sua Pa Intersection to the Royal Road at the Central Hospital Intersection. This Gadget town covers the Sua Pa intersection and nearby areas.

The merchandise available in this area is full of mobile accessories at wholesale and retail prices, with everything including cases, covers, hanging and portable holders, mobile phone parts, screens, charging heads and cables, HDMI cables, adapters, power banks, protective films, stands, SIMs, Bluetooth headphones, speakers, USB cables, leather bags, circuit boards, batteries, tablet devices, and equipment.

Other products include gadgets, closed-circuit cameras, car cameras, electrical equipment, and hand tools.

Mobile phone cases in this area are available in various styles, such as silicone, plastic, and folded forms. There are thousands of beautiful patterns in stocks.

Some shops here have promotions to attract customers attention. Several stores offer a phone-screen film installation service, change mask,  and mobile phone repair service shop —  a cracked device can wait to be picked up in a short time, and some machines may take 2 hours or more, depending on the case.

Suea Pa District is also home to second-hand items alongside the footpath in the alleys; on Saturday and Sunday only.

In addition, Soi Chao Khamrop is a source of leather materials for shoes, bags, bag parts, upholsteries, and leatherworking tools.

To get here, you can take the MRT and get off at the Wat Mangkon Station, and continue walking until the Sua Pa intersection.

If you bring your car, you can park at the Central Hospital and the parking building behind Kasikorn Bank (Suea Pa branch).
